Company One

The Nutcracker

Founded in 1974, the Gainesville Ballet Company (GBC) is a regional company comprised of the Gainesville School of Ballet’s advanced students, select Brenau University dance majors and professional dancers. Every season the company performs The Nutcracker in December and a storybook ballet in March. This coming spring the company will present Alice in Wonderland, an original work by Kristy Nilsson created specifically for GBC. Our spring program also includes newly-created repertory pieces by well-known guest choreographers.
