About the Artistic Director and Company’s dancers |
|
The relationship between the Gainesville Ballet Company, the Gainesville School of Ballet, and Brenau University spans more than 30 years. The tremendous volunteer efforts of dedicated individuals, small businesses, and corporations allow the Company to reach more than 6,000 children and 2,000 adults from 22 different counties across the state of Georgia and beyond. The Board of Directors, staff, and faculty are honored to bring quality dance to Northeast Georgia, and to continue to be recognized as a leading arts organization within the state of Georgia. Trained students may audition for the Junior Company at the age of 10. Many who start with the Junior Company will go on to become Company I dancers with either GBC or other companies. In addition to training under Ms. Diane, the Junior Company has its own director, Ms. Christina Castro-Tauser and a principal instructor Ms. Alyssa Maddox. Click here to view their bios. |
